Your ENG 1/2 CMPTR annunciator is illuminated. What does it mean?
Your MWS fault annunciator indicates the engine Digital Electronic Engine Computer has identified a fault. Now the question is how sever is the fault?
LOW Severity. The MWS annunciator is flashing as a rate of about once every 2 seconds.
Generally this indicates the DEEC buffers are filled and need to be downloaded. Reasons for this can include:
The memory only holds about 40 flights and then starts dumping the oldest info.
There has been a fault that recorded more data than normal to the memory.
There is som other minor fault.
MEDIUM Severity.
The MWS annunciator is flashing as a rate of about once every 1 second. Generally this indicates:
A more severe fault has occurred, this may include faults that need to be recorded in the engine log book or other faults that include a LEVEL to them. Consult the LMM for fault codes
URGENT Severity.
The MWS annunciator is steady illuminated. These faults are non-dispatchable and a maintenance technician should investigate the reason before further flight.
